Editing
Currently the editor of The Cottager, a magazine about lake living in Manitoba and Northwest Ontario, Barbara Edie has provided editorial direction and content for various trade and association magazines.
In addition to her magazine editing experience, Barbara Edie edited Planting the Seed of Hope, a 200-page book celebrating prairie life, as well as Dugald Train Disaster: Memories from 1947, a collection of stories and first-hand accounts about this tragic event in Manitoba history.

Dugald Train Wreck
On Labour Day, September 1, 1947, two passenger trains driven by steam locomotives crashed in the town of Dugald, just east of Winnipeg, and burst into flames. This book is a collection of personal accounts and memories about what happened in Dugald that fateful day in 1947, as told by some of those who were there.
