ServicesHow does RiverRoad Communications work?We will:Meet with clients (in person or by telephone) to discuss needs, wants and desires regarding the assignment or project, including scope of work, expectations and timelinesConsult with clients in the planning and production of projects from simple writing assignments to creative direction for magazines, corporate publications or websites Research background information and content necessary to complete the assignment, including interviewing appropriate sources; in some cases, clients may be asked to provide contacts and/or background information Write and edit copy; and consult with designers/photographers regarding visual content Proofread copy, content and/or design of final product (e.g., article, publication or website) Coordinate photographers, graphic designers, illustrators and/or other writers necessary to complete the project Develop project timelines, and budget if requested Prepare a proposal and quote (fee) to complete the assignment or project, including estimated timelines Once the client has reviewed and approved the proposal, work begins. If the scope of the assignment or project changes during the course of the work, RiverRoad Communications reserves the right to submit a revised quote if required. RiverRoad Communications will provide one set of revisions within the estimate at no extra cost. This will include minor changes to original content, editing and other minor corrections. Any additional revisions to the assignment or project requested by the client that require significant research, writing or editing will incur an additional fee. Fees & Rates Fees for writing, editing, research and consultations, project coordination and communication (emails, phone calls, providing digital documents, images etc.) will be charged by an hourly rate or per project basis to be negotiated with the client. |
